Recently I purchased these adorable mini parfait glasses that are essentially shot glasses with mini spoons. They come in a set of 24 with 12 glasses and 12 spoons and retail for around $30 at Pier One Imports. I think they are so cute and the perfect idea for a party or a shower where everyone just wants a “tasting” of a dessert or appetizer. It’s the perfect way to sample a variety of different things and they have a huge effect even though they are mini sized!
If you have been to P.F. Changs lately, and dined from their pre fixe menu, you are very familiar with these, as well. Although, the ones they use are more angular-it’s still the same idea. So, I thought if it’s good enough for P.F. Changs then it’s good enough for me!!
So, after I saw these, I knew I just had to have them! I couldn’t wait to try them out and sample different desserts inside. I made three different desserts: banana cream pudding with chocolate chips and topped with Nilla Wafers, milk chocolate pudding topped with homemade whipped cream, and rice pudding garnished with cinnamon.

- A quick side note-when filling these glasses it is best to use some sort of pastry bag with or without a tip. If you don’t have one, you can use a plastic bag and snip the tip.

I also thought it would be so fun to fill a glass with milk and serve it with cookies!

There are so many different ideas for these glasses. They are perfect for weddings, parties, showers and more. The only limitation is your creativity!
